On-Site Travel Charge |
$40 | There is a travel charge for trips we make on-site if we have to leave our Canby repair shop. We travel to you, whether you're in Wilsonville, Woodburn, Canby or anywhere in the Portland Metro area. We can also pick up your computer, repair it, and deliver it back to you (we understand that people don’t want just anybody in their homes). |
Expedited Service |
$40 | There is an additional $40 charge for us to put your service request to the top of our work queue. This includes emergency visits, same-day service requests, and work performed outside of our regular business hours. There is no guarantee that we can complete the repairs within 24 hours, especially if there are parts that need to be replaced. This charge is applied whether or not we are able to complete the repair within the expected time frame. |
Flat Rates
Flat rates cover most repairs done within the Canby shop or by remote support. With our flat rates you will only pay the maximum fee regardless of how long it takes us to complete the job. In most cases we can have the computer back to you within 3 days.

System Reinstall |
$80 | A system reinstall will return your computer to its original condition, same as the day you bought it. This will completely remove all viruses or other software problems that plague your system. This repair can only be performed at our Canby repair shop - not available via on-site or remote support. NOTE: If you need your pictures, documents and settings preserved you will also need a Data Transfer (see below) A system reinstall includes the following:
Please have all original installation CD's available to speed up the reinstall process. Some software may be found on the internet if you do not have the original CD's. |
Data Transfer |
$40 | This service covers the transfer of your data from an old computer to a new computer or when doing a System Reinstall. NOTE: Programs and certain features are not transferable. Software reinstallations and email account setup (such as Outlook) will be billed as a separate charge. |
Data Backup |
$40 | Your data is often the most important and also the most vulnerable part of your computer. We will save your important files or establish a regular backup routine so you can save your data to CDs, DVDs, a thumb drive, a portable hard drive, a separate computer system, or an online backup service. Creating a backup routine is the most important thing you can do for your data. It's the only sure way to prevent data loss. Do not rely on your equipment to preserve a single copy of your data, no matter how new the equipment is. |
Data Recovery Tier 1 |
$40 | Lost some important files? Accidentally deleted your pictures? We can recover lost or deleted files 90% of the time. NOTE: Immediately stop using and completely shut down your computer to avoid the possibility of completely losing your files. The $40 charge is applicable even if it's an unsuccessful recovery attempt. |
Data Recovery Tier 2 |
$80 | We can recover data from broken computers, crashed hard drives, and dead memory cards. NOTE: Extensive data recovery services often require multiple repair and recovery procedures which can take days or weeks to complete. We are not liable for data lost during data recovery attempts. We will not proceed with a recovery attempt if we believe it will cause further damage or if we determine that Tier 3 Data Recovery services are required. A $40 charge is applicable even if it's an unsuccessful recovery attempt. We can only do this repair in-shop at our Canby repair center. |
Data Recovery Tier 3 |
$400 | Hard drive completely crashed? Is it clicking or not spinning up at all? We are partnered with experts that offer extensive data recovery services for a very affordable price. NOTE:This service requires that we send your hard drive to our data recovery expterts located in California. Turnaround time is about two weeks. If the recovery attempt is unsuccessful the hard drive will be returned to you with only a $80 charge. Only about 20% are not recoverable using this process. The last option is to send your hard drive to clean-room specialists that charge $1,000 or more. |
Hardware or Software Installation |
$40 | We will install and properly configure any single piece of software and/or hardware. Please bring installation disks that came with the hardware. If you already tried installing the software but the installation became corrupt then this may be considered a "repair" in which case we will troubleshoot and reinstall the software under our standard hourly rate. This service also applies to software uninstallation. |
Diagnostics |
$40 | Includes pinpointing the problem, proposing a solution, and estimating the cost to fix it. This service is FREE if you decide to use our services. The $40 charge is applicable only if you decide not to proceed with the repairs.
