LogMeIn To End Free Accounts

Whether you’re a computer technician, a helpful family member, or you want to check up on your computer at home, chances are you’ve used remote access to log into a different computer. Unfortunately, the popular LogMeIn will no longer offer a free ride for remote users. Existing customers will have 7 days after their next login until they will have the option of paying for the service, or finding an alternative.

A free alternative that we like in our shop is Teamviewer. Those who use remote support commercially would have to go with a paid version of Teamviewer, or check out these other applications: Instant Housecall and ScreenConnect.
